Michael Kirchhoff
Founder | Sr. VoIP and Unified Communications Engineer | Cloud and Network Engineering
Michael brings nearly 30 years of experience in telecommunications, cloud networking, and IT infrastructure. A graduate of the University of Northern Iowa, he leads engineering, design, and deployment of secure, scalable VoIP, UC, and network systems for enterprise and multi-site clients across the U.S. He is highly skilled with Zultys, Intermedia, Polycom, Yealink, and Fanvil, with deep expertise in SIP trunking, cloud PBX migrations, structured cabling, fiber installation, routing, switching, and advanced troubleshooting. As Founder and Senior Engineer at DataTel 360, Michael has overseen thousands of service calls and numerous large-scale infrastructure projects, modernizing legacy voice and data environments while ensuring reliable, high-performance connectivity. Known for precision, field experience, and strong customer focus, he supports clients throughout North, Central, and South America.
Marsie Johnson
Director of Operations | Dispatch Lead
Marsie is often the first voice clients hear at DataTel 360. She brings strong expertise in telecom services, VoIP platforms, cloud phone systems, and carrier solutions, ensuring customers receive accurate guidance from the very first call. Marsie manages service requests through our advanced ticketing system, coordinates directly with technicians, and supports daily operational workflow. She handles both new and existing sales, oversees service for many long-term DataTel 360 clients, and promotes more than 60 circuit carriers offering fiber, coax internet, SIP trunking, and hosted phone services. Her deep understanding of legacy and modern communications makes her a trusted resource for customers navigating voice and data technologies. Known for her positive attitude, responsiveness, and efficiency, she is a key asset to the DataTel 360 team. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, baking, caring for her pets, and spending time with her daughters, grandchildren, and husband.
Richard (Matt) Hawk
Senior Field Engineer, Telecom & Data Communications
Matt is a seasoned Senior Field Engineer at DataTel 360, bringing deep expertise in telecom, datacom, and IT infrastructure services. With a strong background in field operations and technology consulting across healthcare and enterprise environments, he combines hands-on technical skill with strategic problem-solving. Matt excels in managing complex projects, optimizing network performance, and delivering reliable structured cabling, VoIP, and troubleshooting services for clients nationwide. His background includes developing and maintaining mission-critical business solutions and implementing scalable IT systems that improve operational efficiency. Known for his leadership, communication, and customer-focused approach, Matt consistently ensures quality, safety, and precision on every job. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science and Physics from Excelsior College and is committed to helping DataTel 360 deliver exceptional service and innovative technology solutions.
